DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Ensure infrastructure security by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
• Maintain configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
