Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
- Ensure infrastructure security by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
- Maintain configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
