What You'll Do:

CoreWeave's Accounting organization is scaling rapidly to support the company's explosive growth across infrastructure, cloud, and AI services. The Leasing and Joint Venture Team within Corporate Accounting is responsible for lease and Network Service Agreement (NSA) accounting across CoreWeave's global footprint, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable US GAAP standards while driving operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

About the role:

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the Leasing and Joint Venture Team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end accounting for CoreWeave's lease portfolio and Network Service Agreements (NSAs), including embedded lease identification and analysis, lease modification assessments, and month-end close activities. You will partner closely with Legal, Finance, FP&A, Procurement, and business teams to review contractual arrangements and communicate accounting impacts across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and operational excellence, offering broad exposure across a rapidly scaling global company at the forefront of AI infrastructure.

  • Own the identification, documentation, and accounting analysis of embedded leases within Network Service Agreements and other contractual arrangements under applicable US GAAP guidance (ASC 842)
  • Support the month-end close process for lease-related accounts, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and flux analysis
  • Prepare and maintain analytics and supporting schedules for lease-related P&L accounts
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, FP&A, Procurement, and business teams to review new and amended contracts, assess accounting implications, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures related to leases and network service agreements
  • Identify and drive improvements to lease accounting processes, documentation, internal controls, and reporting to support scalability and compliance as CoreWeave's contract portfolio grows
  • Assist with technical accounting research, system implementations, and special projects related to lease accounting and Network Service Agreements activities
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a public accounting firm or a publicly traded company environment
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, with specific experience applying ASC 842, Leases
  • Experience identifying and evaluating embedded leases within complex contractual arrangements such as service agreements, network agreements, or similar arrangements
  • Proven ability to support month-end close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and build schedules and analytics supporting P&L accounts
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and other business partners in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
  • Experience with lease accounting software or subledgers (e.g., CoStar Real Estate Manager, or similar platforms)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
  • Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience
  • Prior experience in a high-growth technology, cloud, or infrastructure company
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, network service agreements, or similar complex contractual arrangements

Wondering if you're a good fit?

We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.

  • You love to dig into complex contracts and untangle nuanced accounting questions — ambiguity doesn't slow you down, it motivates you
  • You're curious about how technical accounting connects to real business decisions and you want a seat at the table when those decisions are made
  • You're energized by building scalable processes and controls from the ground up, and you take ownership of your work in a fast-moving environment
