Working as a Lead Investigator on the Global Investigations team means protecting the safety and integrity of millions of people who rely on our platform every single day. In this role, you will triage and assess complex investigative leads, bridging digital footprints and real-world actions to secure our ecosystem. What you'll do
- Triage and assess a wide range of complex investigative leads referred to the team under tight timelines.
- Analyze large, unstructured datasets using data analysis tools to pull insights and identify operational loopholes.
- Manage high-stakes relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and law enforcement partners while maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Draft comprehensive, objective investigation summaries and provide ongoing, data-driven support to internal teams.
- Conduct witness and subject interviews with a balanced approach of empathy, professional skepticism, and clarity.
- Identify systemic weaknesses in existing processes during investigations and collaborate to build scalable improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience planning, conducting, and resolving investigations within a law enforcement organization, corporate environment, or similar entity.
- Experience conducting witness and suspect interviews .
- Experience navigating office systems and workflow management applications such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, or JIRA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze information independently from large-scale datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to make critical, sound decisions based on limited information in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience reviewing, triaging, and prioritizing high volumes of incoming caseloads.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills used to influence outcomes without formal authority.
