Software Engineering Associate Advisor – Release Management & Experience
As a Software Engineering Associate Advisor – Release Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the release lifecycle of enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in Release and Change Management processes, automation, and cloud technologies, along with a keen eye for analyzing trends and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, experience with software reliability, and a deep understanding of regulatory controls in healthcare IT.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze change and tool metrics to identify trends and automation opportunities for release process improvement.
• Develop models, procedures, and monitoring strategies within Release and Change Management scope.
• Apply End-to-End Release and Change Management frameworks (including ITIL, SOX, and SOC1 Controls).
• Utilize systems analysis skills in an Agile environment to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
• Participate in daily team standups, providing updates on release challenges and backlog items.
• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and minimize risks.
• Collaborate on software reliability improvements using Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance automation in release management.
• Leverage AWS and OpenShift cloud platforms for deployment scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security policies while maintaining accurate release documentation.
Skills & Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of Release and Change Management frameworks and ITIL processes.
• Proficiency in Java, Java Spring Boot, React JS, with experience in JSON and Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and OpenShift.
• Exposure to AI technologies and their application in software automation.
• Familiarity with SOX, SOC1 compliance, and IT controls for regulated environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare business processes and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Understanding of FMEA and software reliability concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
Required Experience & Education:
• 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, release management, or change management.
• Prior experience in healthcare IT is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile development environment.
