About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading global technology organisation to hire two Senior Developer Platform Engineers to help build and scale a next-generation Financial Cloud platform. This is a highly technical engineering role focused on designing and developing the internal developer platform that enables engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software reliably across multiple global environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building the tooling and automation that supports hundreds of engineers working on independently versioned services, while improving deployment reliability, developer productivity, platform security, and operational excellence.
This position is best suited to engineers who enjoy building engineering platforms rather than customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines that automate the complete software delivery lifecycle.
- Develop GitOps-driven deployment platforms using technologies such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Build tooling that automates software deployment across multiple Kubernetes environments.
- Develop build systems that produce reproducible, deterministic, and secure software artifacts.
- Create dependency management and change impact analysis tooling to improve engineering efficiency.
- Build automation that intelligently determines which services require testing and deployment following code changes.
- Develop internal tooling for version management, release automation, environment provisioning, and deployment orchestration.
- Design scalable Kubernetes-based deployment platforms supporting multi-cluster production environments.
- Collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Software Engineering teams.
- Improve platform reliability, deployment speed, observability, and operational resilience.
- Contribute to engineering standards, platform architecture, and technical best practices.

- Built developer platforms used by large engineering organisations.
- Designed or developed production CI/CD systems rather than simply administering existing tools.
- Hands-on experience building Kubernetes-based deployment platforms.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience developing automation that improves software delivery at scale.
- A passion for engineering productivity, platform reliability, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working in highly regulated, fintech, cloud, SaaS, or digital asset environments is highly desirable.
Preferred Backgrounds
Strong candidates often come from Platform Engineering, Developer Platform, Infrastructure Engineering, or Release Engineering teams within organisations such as:
- Global fintech companies
- Cloud providers
- Enterprise SaaS organisations
- Digital asset and blockchain companies
- Large-scale technology companies supporting hundreds of software engineers
Mandatory Eligibility
Candidates must be either a U.S. Citizen or hold a valid U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card).
