Your Role
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate modern cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
You work hands‑on with cloud platforms and services, supporting customers in building secure, scalable, and reliable environments while collaborating closely with architects, developers, and operations teams.
You contribute actively to cloud transformations, application modernization, and platform improvements, ensuring solutions follow best practices and operational standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement and operate Azure cloud solutions, including compute, networking, storage, and platform services
- Support the setup and evolution of Azure landing zones and cloud foundations
- Provision and configure Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep, Terraform, ARM)
- Support application deployments and integrations across Azure services (e.g. App Services, Functions, AKS, data services)
- Build a CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Support cloud security and identity concepts (e.g. Entra ID / Azure AD, role‑based access, network security)
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across development, test, and production environments
- Work closely with solution architects to implement architectural designs and standards
- Contribute to documentation, technical guidelines, and operational handover
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows as part of daily engineering practice
- Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption by establishing patterns, guardrails, and best practices
- Comfortable working with AI agents as part of the engineering toolchain
- Awareness of responsible AI usage in enterprise engineering contexts
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure in engineering or operations roles
- Good understanding of cloud concepts, virtual networking, identity, and security
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and version‑controlled deployments
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and operational best practices in cloud environments
- Willingness to learn and grow toward more complex cloud and platform responsibilities
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented, customer‑focused environment
- Fluency in German and English are a mandatory requirement
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, AKS,Redhat OpenShift)
- Basic knowledge of application or data architectures
- Exposure to security, governance, or compliance topics
- Experience with Data, AI, or automation services on Azure
- Hands‑on mindset and passion for cloud technologies
- Structured and solution‑oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate
- Motivation to continuously learn and earn certifications
- Work with the Microsoft Global Alliance Partner of the Year (14 years in a row)

- Competitive compensation above the applicable IT collective agreement
- We place great importance on performance-based and competitive remuneration and, depending on your experience and qualifications, offer you an attractive compensation package that is significantly above the IT collective agreement (IT‑KV) minimum salary. (The current IT collective agreement minimum salary (2024) in Austria ranges from €43,078 to €71,848 on a full-time basis, depending on the classification.)
