DEVOPS ENGINEER

Location: Budapest , XI. disctrict, hybrid (2 days onsite)

Salary: competitive

Type of employment: contracting, full time

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the stable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cloud-based production, testing, and development environments.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of CI/CD processes using modern DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional agile team.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and services that support software development and application operations.
• Configure, manage, and enhance logging, monitoring, and observability solutions.
• Coordinate and execute application releases and deployments.
• Work together with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to ensure reliable service delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Linux, Git, Java application servers, CI/CD platforms, and relational databases.
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably within Azure environments, as well as Infrastructure as Code principles and tools.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, including automation of build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, logging platforms, and application performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to contribute ideas and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
