As a Software Engineer at Everllence, you will play a key role in the digitalization of the world’s leading ship engine brand, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

You will play an important role in:
- Creating (Design and Development) solutions to update our platforms and application on our engines running in Windows
- Working with PowerShell or similar technology to automating server and application deployments
- Part of designing and developing of own orchestration solution to update multiple devices on the vessels
- Setting up our physical test environment “simulating the engine room on the vessel” and help us test and verify our software packages
- Collaborating closely with embedded, cloud, and cybersecurity engineers to ensure robustness and security
- Contributing to architectural decisions and technology choices for the platform
- Have 5+ years of experience with Windows PowerShell and testing or similar technology for deployment of Windows updates including security patch
- Have deep understanding of Windows operation system and updates procedure
- Are comfortable in Virtualization and have some experience setting up Linux servers
- Have experience with CI/CD GitHub and preferably also GitHub Actions
- Have some experience in setting up firewalls and designing and managing a small network setup
- Love automating processes and by this, eliminate the room for errors
The Edge Platform team is a diverse group of software engineers with expertise across cloud development, PC software development (Windows & Linux), user interface design, cybersecurity, data management etc.
Your new team will consist of 12 engaged Software Engineers based in Copenhagen who, together with a small group of consultants, are responsible for building a scalable orchestration platform that enables “Over-the-Air” updates across an entire fleet of vessels.
