Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Consultant with 45 years of hands-on experience in cloud-native technologies and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across CNCF tools, AWS infrastructure, networking, security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role requires working closely with BFSI and healthcare clients, driving solution design, implementation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation for cloud-native and AWS-based architectures.
- Work closely with BFSI and healthcare clients to understand requirements and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Handle client interactions, provide technical consultation, and drive architecture discussions.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines aligned with organizational release management best practices.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of deployed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and operations.
- Implement and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security standards.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive adoption of DevOps and GitOps best practices across teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, OpenSearch, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS IAM, SSO, and advanced access control mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking including VPC, Transit Gateway (TGW), VPC Peering, NAT Gateway, and PrivateLink.
- Deep understanding of OS Hardening and Docker hardening AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, and KMS.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes architecture and operations.
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes concepts including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, and Namespaces.
- Experience with Ingress Controllers, Gateway API, and service exposure patterns.
- Understanding of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Experience with cluster autoscaling tools such as Karpenter.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Argo CD, and Flux.
- Experience with logging and observability stacks such as EFK/ELK.
- Familiarity with container runtimes and image management.
- Strong expertise in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience in managing reusable modules and automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of release management processes and deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary).
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like Argo CD.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience in production-grade monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in BFSI and healthcare domains is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) are an added advantages
