Employment: Permanent Role

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, administer, and support SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4 platforms, including migrations, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Deploy and manage SAS Viya on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate platform deployments and integrate with Snowflake using Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, BitBucket, and JFrog Artifactory.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across SAS Viya applications, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage platform security, identity integration, RBAC, and compliance while collaborating with Agile teams to support enterprise platform delivery.


Key Skills

  • Strong experience with SAS Viya 4, SAS 9.4, and migration from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, BitBucket, JFrog Artifactory, and CI/CD/DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SAS Viya CLI/API, Control-M, LSF, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Entra ID, LDAP, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, Azure security, networking, governance, and compliance.
