We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

  • Lead a DevOps team responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture.
  • Conduct technical systems administration, installation, and configuration.
  • Foster a DevOps culture and build cross-functional collaboration with various teams.
  • Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture running on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
  • Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure.

What You'll Need

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years in software development, system engineering or related field; or 10+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
  • Current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II (or higher) certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CCNA Security, or CISSP).
  • Experience with container/container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes, including troubleshooting ingress/Gateway API, Helm chart design, pod disruption budgets, and affinity/anti-affinity rules.
  • GitLab pipeline development experience, including integration of CI/CD components, Code Quality reports, and Code Coverage/Test reports.
  • Knowledge of navigating Linux OS, including sysctls for K8s environments, FApolicyd, and SELinux.
  • Comfortable with Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile software development team, with demonstrated ability to break down complex problems and manage product backlogs.
