Due to our continued expansion, Payslip is looking for a driven and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer will work with the VP Engineering & Site Reliability and the development teams collectively to ensure optimal designs and process are employed, maximizing uptime, developer efficiency, quality, and reducing the cost of AWS resources.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the team to create a best-in-class DevOps organization with an automate everything mindset
- Promoting the use of AWS services to meet business demand automatically
- Working in a Scrum team with developers to bring features from design through to deployment
- Designing and building CI/CD pipelines, working with the QA automation team to include fully automated tests
- Devising “always on” deployment strategies with appropriate monitoring and rollback capabilities
- Enforcing infrastructure as code approach to all resources
- Handle outages and security incidents, provide resolution and root cause analysis, including post-mortem description, protocol of the resolution and further mitigation/prevention actions
- Configure and improve monitoring systems to provide swift responses to critical alerts.
- Terraform
- ECS, ECR, VPC, ALB & Target Groups, EBS, S3
- API Gateway and Lambda applications
- PostgreSQL RDS and Elasticache Redis
- CloudWatch monitoring
- Static Code Analysis and third-party libraries vulnerability analysis
- 2+ years DevOps experience working within a fast growing SaaS enviroment
- Rapidly growing indigenous Irish SaaS company with international client base and global partners
- International team: Ireland, Spain & Bulgaria
