We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
You will design and implement automation solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of physical security systems. Using scripting tools such as PowerShell and integrating systems through APIs and databases, you will streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall system efficiency. You will build and maintain automation workflows, develop CI/CD pipelines, integrate platforms, and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions while analysing system performance and resolving reliability issues.
In addition, you will collaborate with security, IT and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement across processes, tools and workflows. You will support hybrid environments spanning cloud and on-premise infrastructure, strengthen security controls and compliance through automation, and help deliver more resilient, scalable, and highly automated security operations.
What You Offer
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell and Python are an advantage)
- Experience integrating systems using APIs/SDKs and working with SQL-based databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/SecDevOps practices, and Git-based version control
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed systems
- Experience with monitoring, logging and visualisation tools (e.g., Grafana, Power BI)
- Understanding of security, compliance and automation best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
