DevOps Lead

DevOps Lead / Manager (AWS)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead / Manager with a strong AWS background to drive platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence within a fast-growing company. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role working closely with senior leadership to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices across AWS.
• Perform deep diagnostics to identify quality, reliability, and performance issues.
• Define and deliver improvements to platform stability, scalability, and delivery efficiency.
• Drive automation, observability, and operational best practices.
• Partner with engineering teams and senior stakeholders on architecture and scaling initiatives.
• Participate in and help lead the on-call rotation and incident management process.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong AWS expertise with relevant AWS certifications preferred.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring/observability tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Experience operating in high-growth or scaling environments.
• Comfortable working with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside senior leadership.

Nice to Have

• Previous team leadership or management experience.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Exposure to SRE practices, cloud governance, and cost optimisation.

Strong communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to operate independently are essential. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
