The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, platform reliability, and production support, along with the ability to work across applications, infrastructure, security, and support teams.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support production and non-production environments on GCP.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps processes.
- Support customer-facing and internal websites, applications, and cloud-native platforms.
- Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Manage deployments, environment configurations, secrets, certificates, and platform integrations.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and support teams to ensure reliable and secure operations.
- Drive improvements in availability, scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform standardization, documentation, release management, and change management practices.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, VPC, Cloud Armor).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
- Experience with Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native platforms.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including Vault, IAM/RBAC, and DevSecOps.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash/Shell (Go preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, middleware, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience supporting production web applications and customer-facing platforms.
- Excellent communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS), HCL Commerce, or similar enterprise application platforms.
- Experience supporting eCommerce or other business-critical digital platforms.
- Familiarity with middleware, web servers, certificates, integrations, and enterprise release/change management processes.
