DevOps Engineer

Our client are a VC-backed Fintech hosting a unified automation platform and B2B SaaS command centre for corporate finance teams. The platform utilizes specialized autonomous AI agents to eliminate manual accounting workflows, streamline treasury management, and automate complex enterprise workflows.

We are Seeking a DevOps Lead Engineer to own the infrastructure for a B2B SaaS platform handling critical enterprise finance data. You will bridge the gap between rapidly built infrastructure and fully codified, reproducible environments, ensuring our platform is predictable, secure, and ready for both engineers and autonomous AI agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evolve infrastructure-as-code to seamlessly add services, queues, and environments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, multi-daily production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues regarding latency, databases, and deployment errors.
• Harden cloud security, enterprise secrets management, and compliance controls.
• Strengthen observability (dashboards, tracing) and optimize our AWS cloud spend.

The Environment:

Managed AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code:

• Cloud & Compute: AWS (ECS, Lambda, Serverless)
• Infra-as-Code: Pulumi (Python)
• Data & Orchestration: PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora), Airflow (MWAA)
• CI/CD & Observability: GitLab CI, Grafana Cloud, CloudWatch, Sentry
• Auth & Edge: Cognito, IAM, API Gateway, ALB

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience with Python or another core object-oriented language.
• Strong backend expertise in APIs, microservices, and system architecture.
• Database proficiency spanning data modeling, SQL, and query optimization.
• Pragmatic mindset: Focused on automation, security, and immutable infrastructure.

Highly Valued (Bonus):

• Experience with B2B SaaS, fintech, Payments or Financial Services background.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and advanced serverless workloads.
• Curiosity about AI workflows and building reliable foundations for autonomous agents.
