We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery, with a strong mindset toward improving system reliability and scalability. You will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline software delivery, optimize infrastructure, and ensure the stability and performance of our platforms. Your role will be key in enabling faster, safer, and more efficient deployments while maintaining high standards of security and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure environments (eg. Azure, AWS, Mendix).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment and release management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Core (IaC) practices and tools Azure Bicep, Terraform, Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high system reliability and uptime.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Enhance security practices and ensure compliance across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Manage environment certificates and access control.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure, deployment processes, and system configurations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Azure Container Instances (ACI) and Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong understanding of system architecture and networking.
- Version control systems (Git) and modern workflows.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced and innovative environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with maritime, logistics, or large-scale operational platforms
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) will be considered an advantage.
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices and DevSecOps
- Experience supporting highly distributed or onboard/offshore systems
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
