Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure platforms supporting multiple engineering teams.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using GitOps principles and automation tools.
- Continuously improve platform reliability, security, and deployment processes through automation and standardization.
- Ensure infrastructure adheres to organizational security, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Administer and optimize cloud environments with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor platform health, infrastructure performance, and system availability using monitoring and observability tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and networking issues in production environments.
- Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis, service restoration, and preventive improvements.
- Participate in scheduled on-call support rotations for critical production systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Develop automation scripts and reusable deployment workflows to streamline infrastructure provisioning and application delivery.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and GitOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Support container orchestration platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
- Optimize container infrastructure and deployment strategies for production workloads.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application modernization initiatives.
- Partner with software engineering teams to deliver reliable, production-ready infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance on infrastructure design and platform improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform stability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar infrastructure-focused roles.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale, business-critical cloud production environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines.
- Experience working in globally distributed engineering teams is an advantage.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Chef, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong experience managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern automation platforms such as GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
- Experience with Linux system administration, preferably Ubuntu.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
- Experience with messaging platforms, search technologies, or NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent understanding of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevOps best practices.
