Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to help modernize deployment automation, scale cloud-based delivery models, and manage a hybrid infrastructure setup spanning AWS and on-premise environments.

This is a strong fit for an engineer who is curious about how infrastructure works end-to-end, enjoys migrating legacy setups toward modern cloud architectures, and wants to take deep technical ownership within a lean, senior engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure and DevOps work full-time, partnering closely with the existing infrastructure engineering team.
• Build, maintain, and scale Terraform-based infrastructure and deployment automation systems.
• Strengthen, maintain, and continually evolve core CI/CD pipelines and processes.
• Support the strategic evaluation and migration of on-prem lab delivery systems toward cloud-based (AWS EC2) alternatives.
• Drive the design and deployment of cloud-based environments (AWS EC2) to transition legacy workloads to the cloud.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience at a mid- to senior-level, with a proven ability to manage infrastructure independently with high autonomy.
• Solid, hands-on production experience with AWS, Terraform, and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Core technical familiarity with the ecosystem: AWS (primary cloud), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and industry monitoring/alerting tools (such as Sentry, PagerDuty, and Datadog).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a comfort for working closely within a small, close-knit engineering team.
• Experience or a strong technical interest in on-prem data center environments and VMware/Broadcom virtualization platforms is a major plus.
• Familiarity with or exposure to supporting multi-platform environments (such as Drupal/PHP workloads hosted on Upsun) is a nice-to-have.
