What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and grow the careers of engineers across three teams.
- Set the vision and roadmap for developer productivity; Drive our performance engineering practice and own the release experience.
- Partner with product, infrastructure, and internal CI teams across Datadog to understand how they build software and continuously increase the efficiency of our workflows.
- Scale and evolve fault-tolerant, tier-0 CI and CD systems to support growth into new and more complex environments.
- An experienced people manager who invests in career growth, mentoring, and building healthy, high-trust teams.
- Currently managing multiple engineering teams, including through engineering managers.
- A strong project-delivery leader with a track record of roadmap planning and shipping in collaboration with partner teams.
- Skilled in system design, with the ability to set and raise the technical bar for reliable, high-scale systems, challenging complexity and ensuring the team delivers highest value for the investment.
- Experience leading internal tooling, DevX, or platform teams.
- You thrive partnering across many stakeholders, internal customers, platform providers, and sister teams.
- Bonus: experience with internal tooling or developer-productivity teams, continuous integration/delivery systems, benchmarking, or AWS.
