About the role...

We are currently seeking an Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.

What you will do...

• Implement, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions across enterprise environments.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing coordination.
• Securely configure and harden systems, services, and applications.
• Deploy security patches and implement cybersecurity controls.
• Support Identity & Access Management (IAM), PKI, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions and improve security posture.
• Produce technical documentation, security reports, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices and compliance.

Technical Skills required...

• BSc's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
• 8+ years of relevant IT experience, including 5+ years as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of operating system, network, and application security.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security remediation.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, OWASP, SANS CIS Controls, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with security monitoring platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Darktrace).
• Experience with IAM, PKI, PAM, and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Knowledge of application security testing tools (e.g., Checkmarx SAST/DAST).
• Strong understanding of security protocols, secure coding, and security controls.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Holding at least 3 internationally recognized cybersecurity certifications, such as:

• GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
• GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst (GPPA)
• GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN)
• GIAC Certified UNIX Security Administrator (GCUX)
• GIAC Certified Critical Controls (GCCC)
• SSCP
• CCSP
• CISSP
• CSSLP
• GSEC
• EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)
• SABSA Certified Security Operations & Service Management Practitioner (SCPO)

or equivalent internationally recognized certifications.
