• Extensive experience building modern frontend applications using React or similar JavaScript frameworks.

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a product used by global brands while solving genuinely challenging engineering problems.We're looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer (Technical Lead) to own the frontend architecture across our web and mobile applications, establish engineering standards, and help build a world-class product.

This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role.

Initially, you'll lead one frontend engineer while remaining deeply involved in architecture and implementation. As Krunchbox continues to grow, you'll play a key role in building and leading the frontend engineering function.You'll work closely with Product, Design and Backend Engineering to deliver intuitive, high-performance web and mobile experiences that allow customers to explore millions of retail records through fast, responsive visualisations, dashboards and AI-powered workflows.This role offers significant influence over our frontend architecture, engineering practices, tooling and technical direction.What You'll Do

• Lead the architecture and development of our web and mobile frontend applications.
• Design highly interactive dashboards, reporting experiences and AI-powered user interfaces.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to our design system.
• Develop cross-platform mobile experiences using modern frameworks where appropriate.
• Optimise application performance for large, data-intensive workloads.
• Work closely with backend engineers to define scalable APIs and data flows.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance and best practices.
• Champion engineering quality through testing, documentation and clean architecture.
• Leverage modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and similar technologies to improve engineering productivity while maintaining exceptional engineering quality.
• Help establish frontend engineering standards that will scale with the business.
