Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days remote).


As a Senior DevSecOps Coach, you will be working for our client, a leading organization within the financial industry committed to operational excellence and technological advancement. You will play a vital role in guiding IT teams through the adoption of DevSecOps practices, fostering a culture of continuous integration, security, and automation to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the adoption and utilization of DevSecOps tools within BPCE-IT, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Provide tailored training and coaching to IT teams to enhance their DevSecOps capabilities.
  • Lead and contribute to community discussions on DevSecOps, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
  • Support the automation of deployment pipelines and security integration using tools such as CRAFT, OpenShift, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket (or Git), TFS, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
  • Create and utilize APIs for automation purposes to streamline processes.
  • Mentor teams on the integration of DevSecOps methodologies, fostering a culture aligned with CALMS principles.
  • Propose innovative approaches for skill dissemination and process optimization.
  • Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on DevOps and security practices.


You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 9 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as CRAFT and OpenShift.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Bitbucket (or Git), Jenkins, TFS, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps culture and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in facilitating workshops and coaching technical teams.
  • Ability to use and create APIs for automation.
  • Pedagogical skills and patience to support learning and adoption processes.


It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications related to DevSecOps, automation, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience working within financial or similar regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with security integration in CI/CD pipelines.


Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
