Application Security Specialist

ARVKonsult AB is looking for an experienced Senior Application Security Coordinator for an exciting consulting assignment. We are seeking a security professional who can combine strong technical expertise with excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills to drive vulnerability remediation across complex enterprise environments.

📍 Location: Stockholm / Oslo (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)

Role Summary

As a Senior Application Security Coordinator, you will coordinate remediation activities resulting from penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. You will ensure security findings are assessed, prioritized based on risk, and remediated efficiently by collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outcomes from penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Assess security findings and prioritize remediation based on business risk.
• Drive and track remediation activities to completion.
• Collaborate with security, development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Establish governance, reporting, and follow-up processes for vulnerability management.
• Improve visibility and control over the organization's security posture.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of Application Security and Infrastructure Security.
• Experience working with Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing reports.
• Ability to assess risk and prioritize remediation activities.
• Knowledge of CVE, CWE, and CVSS.
• Experience with Jira and vulnerability tracking workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience driving structured remediation programs across multiple teams.
