Senior Security Engineering Expert

For one of our leading clients - a global leader in enterprise software, we are looking for Security Engineering Expert.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive cryptographic inventory across SAP Signavio products
- Conduct analysis of cryptographic implementations and support FIPS 140-3 compliance initiatives
- Review security findings related to cryptography and identify potential compliance gaps
- Define, drive, and track mitigation plans in collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Lead Threat Modeling workshops for cloud-based applications and services
- Create detailed threat modeling reports, including risk assessments and recommended remediation actions
- Work closely with development teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into product design and implementation
- Support Secure Development and Operations Lifecycle (SDOL) activities across the organization
- Provide expert guidance on application security and security engineering best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve security awareness, processes, and documentation
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and support compliance-related activities
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and comprehensive handover documentation at the end of the engagement
Requirements:
- Proven expert-level experience in Software Security Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience implementing security controls and security initiatives from design through deployment
- Deep understanding of Application Security, Cloud Security, and Secure Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC/SDOL)
- Professional-level written and spoken English
- Experience conducting and facilitating Threat Modeling workshops using industry-recognized methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Cryptography, cryptographic controls, and security best practices
- Experience analyzing security findings, defining remediation strategies, and working with engineering teams to implement solutions
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive security initiatives with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong technical documentation and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
