As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in embedding security controls and best practices across Axpo’s development and delivery pipelines. What you will do:

• Implement and continuously improve Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and validation processes.
• Perform application security activities (e.g., threat modeling, secure code reviews, SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).
• Support cloud and containerized environments (Azure preferred) with secure configurations and controls.
• Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and contribute to preventive measures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Research and recommend tools, techniques, and improvements to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably in security operations or engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of SSDLC, application security principles, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, threat modeling, and GitHub advanced security.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts (Azure & Cloudflare preferred) and container security.
• Familiarity with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of incident response and vulnerability management processes.
• Professional working proficiency in English; German is a plus.
