Senior Security Engineer (UK Remote - £110k)

Role: Senior Security Engineer (AWS)

Location: UK Remote

Salary: £110,000 total compensation

Lawrence Harvey are partnered with a fast-growing, innovative Software company that are searching for a skilled Security Engineer to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the business and spearhead the completion of some critical security and platform engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS security controls and governance.
• Deploy and manage security tooling (CrowdStrike/SentinelOne, Tenable, Cloudflare).
• Automate vulnerability management, patching and security operations.
• Secure Kubernetes, containers and serverless workloads.
• Build security automation using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Ansible and scripting.
• Produce operational documentation, runbooks and dashboards.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years working across AWS Security (GuardDuty, Inspector, SecurityHub, Detective, Config, CloudTrail)
• Strong experience patching and remediating vulnerabiltiies
• Experience securing Kubernetes/EKS, containers and serverless environments.
• Experience deploying and managing security tooling like Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Tenable
• Implementation and management of Firewalls, preferably Fortinet
