Senior Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer

📍 Location: Aveiro (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for building and operating modern Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), cloud infrastructure, CI/CD ecosystems, and security-by-default engineering practices.

This role combines Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and Cloud Modernization, helping development teams deliver software faster, safer, and more reliably.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and operate the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and CI/CD stack across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Create golden paths and self-service templates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), pipelines, and environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and policy-as-code using Terraform and GitHub/Azure DevOps.
  • Embed security by default, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and artifact signing.
  • Establish observability and SRE practices, driving reliability through SLOs and incident management.
  • Lead cloud modernization initiatives and support migrations from on-premises to cloud-native platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Maintain and evolve the developer portal and service catalog.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience operating CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Deep expertise in Terraform and Git-based automation.
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code principles.
  • Strong knowledge of identity management, networking, platform hardening, and secrets management.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SAST
  • DAST
  • SCA
  • SBOM
  • Artifact signing and supply chain security
  • Proven experience leading on-premises to cloud migration projects.
  • Strong observability experience across logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and runbooks.
  • Experience working within SRE frameworks and reliability-focused environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English.
