SENIOR APPLICATION TESTER

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and expertise in testing methodologies and practices.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance tests, to identify and report issues.
- Implement automated testing strategies using tools like Playwright, Rest Assured, and Selenium, and integrate them into the CICD process.
- Conduct load and non-functional testing to evaluate the performance and stability of delivered services/components.
- Prepare detailed test documentation, results, and reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication of testing outcomes.
- Build and maintain regression test cases for both manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing business requirements, transforming them into testable scenarios and cases.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for test optimization, working closely with development teams.
- Follow MIS development practices, including activity tracking and issue management using JIRA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless testing process and effective issue resolution.
- 12+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in manual and automated testing.
- Expertise in various testing types, including functional, non-functional, integration, API, and system testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with JSON, XML, SQL, Java, JUnit, OAuth2, CICD, JIRA, Confluence, and qTest.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development teams and other testers in a cooperative environment.
- Desirable: Experience with legacy systems and data reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach, able to identify and resolve complex issues.
- A passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
