YOUR MISSION
At Glovo, we don’t just move food; we move millions of transactions every hour across 20+ countries. Our Finance teams define the "Rules of the Game" (The What). Your mission is to build the High-Performance Machine that executes those rules (The How).
As our Finance Process Excellence Manager, you are responsible for designing, standardizing, and optimizing core finance processes across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Invoice-to-Pay (I2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Master Data Management. You will lead a high-performing team, drive operational efficiency, and lay the foundation for automation and digital transformation initiatives.
THE JOURNEY
- Establish process standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the finance organization.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies; develop targeted improvement roadmaps aligned with Finance Transformation strategy.
- Build a high-performing team culture focused on ownership, innovation, and operational excellence (currently 5-7 direct reports).
- Oversee master data management strategy (customer, vendor, chart of accounts, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives; measure and report on process KPIs (touchless ratio, cost, quality, headcount impact).
- Prepare processes for future automation by identifying RPA and AI opportunities and building process documentation that enables automation.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 5-7 years of experience in finance process management, operational improvement, or business transformation (Big 4, consulting, corporate finance, or similar).
- Proven team leadership: Direct management experience with 3+ team members; track record of developing talent.
- Deep process expertise: Hands-on experience redesigning/optimizing P2P, R2R, O2C, or similar finance processes.
- Systems & technology fluency: Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft), process intelligence (Celonis), process automation tools, and data governance.
- Strategic & analytical mindset: Ability to think systemically about process design while executing tactically; comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- Experience with lean/six sigma methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks.
