Cyber Security Analyst (Threat and Adversary Mitigation)

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain threat & countermeasure frameworks (attack surfaces, vectors, TTP mapping, mitigation controls)
• Identify, implement, and track mitigation strategies against adversaries and attack techniques
• Drive secure architecture by influencing stakeholders across security, architecture, and engineering teams
• Perform deep-dive analysis on high-risk exposure areas
• Review and optimize security control configurations to ensure strong defensive posture
• Collaborate with Red Team, Threat Detection, and Cyber Response teams to simulate adversary behaviors
• Monitor and report effectiveness of countermeasures and ROI
• Stay updated on emerging threats, attack patterns, and industry best practices
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with NIST Identify, Protect, Detect domains
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on security posture and performance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must Have

• Strong experience in Cyber Security, especially CTI / SOC / Threat Mitigation
• Solid understanding of threat frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, Cyber Kill Chain
• Experience with threat detection, adversary simulation, or red teaming
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive security initiatives
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Technical background in systems, cloud, or software engineering

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge in scripting/programming (Python, NodeJS, etc.)
• Experience in consulting or large enterprise environments
• Background in penetration testing / red team / incident response
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications or degrees
