Your Role
- Managing security requirements by defining and linking security mechanisms to functional requirements to include innovative security mechanisms in hardware, firmware, etc.
- Assess and review security solutions implementations
- Proposing secure hardware and software IP, considering power, area, and performance constraints
- Coordinating and conducting pre-silicon and post-silicon vulnerability analysis (VA) or risk assessments of hardware security architectures.
- Investigating the root cause of security defects.
- Interfacing with customers, evaluation labs, and product development teams.
- Work with the team to innovate solutions to security-related problems
- Staying up to date with best practices and developments in the SoC/IC security industry
- Providing advice and training to the development team on security design, implementation, integration, and verification.
- Support security certification and the application of the NXP Security Maturity Process
- BSEE or MSEE or PHD preferred in Security Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- Have good knowledge of SoC/IC architectures of embedded devices
- Have good knowledge in the design and development of embedded secure systems
- Understanding of embedded firmware/software and its interaction with hardware.
- Strong interest in security and ability to learn quickly.
- Have good knowledge in Hardware Description Languages (System Verilog, VHDL), synthesis, schematics and layout.
- Ability to educate and share knowledge with colleagues.
- You are a strong communicator; team player and you get results.
- Strong background in security and understanding of security concepts and principles, including cryptography, Fault Injection and Side-Channel Attacks.
- Experience in designing and developing embedded secure system architectures and/or security-related IP.
- Knowledge of security certification schemes (e.g. Common Criteria, SESIP, FIPS, OSCCA) and international security standards (e.g. ISO21434, IEC62443).
