We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester to support the Connecticut Department of Children & Families (DCF) on its enterprise CCWIS Child Welfare System. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-impact application where you'll play a key role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality software through modern automation and Agile testing practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Execute UI, API, backend, regression, integration, database, performance, security, accessibility, mobile, and manual testing.
- Create automated test cases from Agile user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Validate REST, SOAP, WCF, XML, and JSON integrations.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Perform ADA, Section 508, WCAG, browser compatibility, and mobile compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, defect reports, and QA documentation.
- Track defects through resolution and support end-to-end system integration testing.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA Automation Testing experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure DevOps Suite:
- Azure Boards
- Azure Repos
- Azure Pipelines
- Azure Test Plans
- Azure Artifacts
- 5+ years of automation experience using UFT, VBScript, or another programming language.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks, manual testing, and QA best practices.
- AND
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with regression, integration, database, performance, security, accessibility, and mobile testing.
- Experience working on at least two large-scale Agile software development projects.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
