Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your cybersecurity architecture expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining the Cybersecurity Architecture for UrbalisFlo, aligning with IEC 62443 standards, and designing innovative solutions to enhance Alstom's UrbalisFlo system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including the Cybersecurity Organization, Product Management Team, and System Designers), contribute to program reviews, and ensure the quality, consistency, and timely delivery of system design deliverables – and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Developing and delivering the UrbalisFlo Cybersecurity system and subsystem requirements, roadmap, and internal subsystem constraints.
- Playing a key role between the Cybersecurity Organization and the Product Management Team in the definition of the technical answers to Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, defining a coherent strategy across subsystems with the Product Architects.
- Supporting the System Engineering Manager for identification of technical risks and definition of the development strategy.
- Applying process, methods, and tools as referenced by the program plans.
- Ensuring quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of the design and specification according to the development strategy, in collaboration with the System Designers and other System Architects.
- Participating in program reviews.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- About 3-4 years of experience working in cybersecurity.
- Experience working with cybersecurity requirements and cybersecurity standards (including IEC 62443 or similar).
- Experience or understanding of cybersecurity architecture design, particularly in alignment with IEC 62443 standards.
- Exposure to or experience using DOORS (requirements management) for documenting and managing requirements.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Knowledge of system engineering principles and processes, as well as cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with UrbalisFlo or similar rail signaling systems and their cybersecurity requirements.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Experience with process, methods, and tools for system design and development.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on evolving cybersecurity technologies.
- Ability to promote and adhere to ethical standards in line with the Alstom Code of Ethics.
