As a Test Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a high-performing team of QA engineers, driving Gen AI-powered automation strategies, mentoring talent, and embedding intelligent quality practices across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Direct, evaluate, and develop a team of QA engineers, guiding them in adopting AI-first testing strategies and advanced automation techniques.
- Drive AI-Powered QA Transformation: Implement Gen AI-driven test case generation, intelligent defect prediction, and self-healing automation frameworks.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Apply AI-powered analytics for risk assessment, defect clustering, and predictive quality insights to differentiate immediate needs vs long-term solutions.
- Career Development: Create forward-thinking career development programs focused on AI-assisted QA tools, intelligent automation, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate Globally: Work with senior engineers, product managers, and scrum masters in an agile environment, advocating for AI-supported shift-left testing.
- Technical Leadership: Contribute to the selection, validation, and implementation of next-gen QA tools, including platforms that integrate Generative AI for automation.
- CI/CD Integration: Implement intelligent quality gates in CI/CD pipelines for automated risk assessment and faster releases.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging trends in AI-driven QA, automation frameworks, and cloud-native testing strategies.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 8–11 years of experience in QA/testing, with 2+ years leading technical teams.
- Proven ability to mentor teams and drive AI-first QA adoption.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, WebDriver I/O) and programming languages (Java/C#).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and integrating AI-powered quality gates.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with AI-assisted automation tools or platforms leveraging Generative AI for script generation and defect prediction.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications in QA, automation, or AI/ML fundamentals.
- Open-source contributions or participation in QA/AI communities.
Our Benefits & Rewards
The salary range for this position is $44,000 to $96,700 EGP and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
