🛠️ About the Role:
We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to guide a high-impact development team building secure and high-performance distributed systems. You will be responsible for driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-reliability services.
You’re comfortable working with established tools, but also curious and confident enough to try new technologies when the challenge calls for it.
💼 Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of large-scale backend solutions using Go (Golang)
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices around performance, security, and maintainability
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles, ensuring clean CI/CD pipelines and test automation
- Actively mentor engineers and conduct code/design reviews
- Provide day-to-day professional leadership for a cross-functional team of 5–6 people (developers, analysts, and testers)
- Coordinate delivery plans across both sprint and mid-term roadmap levels
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of features and enhancements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, DevOps, and QA teams
- Architect and integrate secure communication protocols including TLS/mTLS, PKI, and Keycloak-based auth flows
- Participate in IT process audits (e.g., ISO) and ensure technical documentation is complete and up to date
✅ What We Expect:
- 5+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang) -
- - and/or 5+ years of backend development experience in C++, C#, or Java
- Strong background in networking, secure communication protocols, and system-level architecture
- Proficient in Linux environments, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD (e.g., GitLab CI)
- Deep knowledge of TLS/mTLS, certificate management, and PKI-based infrastructures
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, making architectural decisions, and delivering reliable systems
- Experience working in containerized environments, including Kubernetes
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk)
🧩 Nice to Have:
- Experience in cybersecurity, identity management, or secure infrastructure
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Prior experience leading hybrid or fully remote engineering teams
- Product development knowledge
- Experience with frontend technologies (Vue.js, Angular, TypeScript)
- Experience with platforms like QEMU, VMWare, Ansible
