Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Scope of the role

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and enforce configuration standards across servers and services.
• Use configuration management tools to automate and maintain server configurations.
• Containerize applications using technologies like Docker.
• Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes, OpenShift , Rancher or similar platforms.
• Optimize container performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Monitor resource utilization, logs, and application health.
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the team. Job Objective and Responsibilities
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining an automated infrastructure that is scalable and reliable.
• Ensuring the efficient and secure operation of CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Collaborating with security teams to maintain a secure environment and adhere to best practices.

Job Specification and Qualifications Education

• Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge and Experience of Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
• Proven experience in a DevOps/SRE role with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with the specified tools such as OpenShift, Argocd, Jenkins (deployment), Ansible AWX, Zabbix, Harbor, Nexus, GitLab, Kong, Kafka, and RHEL.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker (on top of Kubernetes) and Kubernetes (coding system).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Expertise in configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
