As a Software Engineer III on the Process Engineering and Automation team, you will be responsible for...
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that integrate automated testing and security reviews
- Establish and enforce application hardening standards across scripts, platform automations, and AI-enabled web applications
- Lead security reviews for new development work and produce Authority to Operate (ATO)-ready artifacts, including System Security Plan (SSP) sections, control evidence, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) inputs
- Integrate AI-assisted development and testing tools into team workflows, document best practices, and train peers on secure development methods
- Maintain development and production environments, conduct secure code reviews, monitor security events, and drive remediation while advancing a shift-left testing culture
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in application development, including test-driven development
- 4+ years of experience with Python
- 4+ years of experience across the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- 4+ years of experience in security operations and application security practices
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
- Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Experience designing and maintaining continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience producing Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation, including System Security Plan (SSP) sections, control evidence, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) inputs
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or large language model (LLM)-based development and test generation tools
- Experience conducting secure code reviews for Python, HTML/CSS, .NET, and PowerShell applications
- Experience establishing application hardening standards for web applications, automations, or scripts
- Experience monitoring production environments for security findings and driving remediation to closure
