Overview

We are seeking an experienced XSOAR Automation Consultant to join a high-profile cyber security programme in UAE on a 12-month B2B contract.

This role is centered on security automation, orchestration, and workflow optimisation, helping to streamline Security Operations through the development of intelligent playbooks and seamless integration across enterprise security platforms. You will work closely with SOC analysts and security engineering teams to automate repetitive processes, accelerate incident response, and improve operational efficiency.

Experience with Cortex XDR and Cortex XSIAM is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise automation solutions using Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR
• Create, maintain and enhance automated playbooks to improve SOC efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Integrate XSOAR with SIEM, XDR, EDR, ticketing systems and third-party security technologies
• Develop automated workflows for alert ingestion, enrichment, triage, investigation and response
• Build custom integrations and automation scripts using Python where required
• Collaborate with SOC, Security Engineering and Infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities
• Troubleshoot automation, integrations and platform performance issues while continuously improving workflows

Required Experience

• Proven hands-on experience implementing and supporting Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR
• Strong background in security automation, orchestration and SOC operations
• Experience developing XSOAR playbooks, integrations and workflow automation
• Hands-on experience integrating XSOAR with SIEM, XDR, EDR and other enterprise security platforms
• Strong scripting skills using Python (PowerShell and JavaScript are advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Cortex XSIAM and/or Cortex XDR
• Palo Alto Networks certifications (XSOAR, XSIAM, PCNSE)
• Experience with cloud security technologies across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Previous experience delivering enterprise security projects within large-scale environments
