Your New Role

As the Senior Manager – AI Security, you will take on a vital leadership and execution role within the bank's advanced technology division. Your mission will be to secure the future of AI-driven banking by ensuring that all artificial intelligence models, machine learning pipelines, and autonomous agentic systems are robust against emerging threats and fully compliant with global standards.

This is a highly specialized role split 70% focused on deep cybersecurity execution and 30% on governance, ethics, and compliance. You will act as the defensive shield and regulatory anchor for the bank’s bleeding-edge AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Attack Surface Defense: Lead the technical security assessment of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, and AI agents. You will defend against specialized vectors like prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Secure AI Lifecycle: Embed rigorous security architecture and threat modeling into the entire data science and MLOps pipeline, ensuring code, training data, and model outputs remain entirely secure.
• AI Governance & Compliance: Own the 30% governance mandate by establishing enterprise-grade evaluation frameworks, ethical benchmarks, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to regional and international financial regulations.
• Observability & Guardrails: Design, implement, and monitor real-time AI guardrails and observability dashboards to track model fairness, data privacy, compliance drift, and adversarial anomalies.

What You'll Need to Succeed

This role requires a unique intersection of advanced cyber defense capabilities and a sharp analytical mindset for tech governance.

• Deep Cybersecurity Expertise: A strong background in enterprise security architecture, threat modeling, and product security within a highly regulated environment (ideally Banking, FinTech, or Critical Infrastructure).
• AI/ML Security Specialization: Proven, hands-on experience securing AI systems. You must deeply understand how LLMs operate and how to defend the infrastructure supporting them (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases).
• Governance & Risk Frameworks: Strong familiarity with emerging AI governance standards, data privacy laws, and the ethical considerations of deploying automated decision-making systems in financial services.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience navigating and auditing secure cloud architectures, with a strong preference for the Azure ecosystem.
• Collaborative Leadership: Proven track record in a senior or managerial technical role, with the communication skills required to bridge the gap between deep-tech engineering squads, data science teams, and executive risk committees.
