Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Application Security (AppSec) Platform Team. In this role, you will design and build internal security platforms, automations, and tooling that enable secure software development across the organization.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines strong DevSecOps and Platform Engineering expertise with a passion for Agile ways of working. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will help facilitate Scrum practices, improve team collaboration, and support efficient delivery within the AppSec Platform team.

Working closely with software engineers, architects, security specialists, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in embedding security into development processes while continuously enhancing our internal AppSec capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

DevSecOps & Platform Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain internal security tools, automations, templates, and platform services.
• Build and enhance secure CI/CD pipelines using a security-first approach.
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps capabilities, including:SAST & DAST
• Secrets Management
• Container Security
• Vulnerability Management
• Integrate security controls and compliance checks into development workflows.
• Support cloud security and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives.
• Partner with development teams to improve secure software delivery practices.
• Define technical standards, implementation guides, documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Drive continuous improvements across the AppSec Platform ecosystem.

Role Requirements:

Required Technical Skills

• Proven experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Application Security.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC/SDLC).
• Experience with application security practices and technologies, including:OWASP
• SAST
• DAST
• Secrets Management
• Vulnerability Management
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within enterprise Application Security or Platform Engineering teams.
• Familiarity with SAFe and PI Planning.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or security enablement services.
• Product mindset with an interest in platform ownership and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting cross-functional teams.
