Location: Mannheim / Hybrid

Our client is seeking a SOC Lead to oversee and advance security operations, incident response and cyber resilience initiatives across a complex technology environment. This role combines operational oversight, process improvement and strategic security leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of cyber defence and security operations capabilities.
• Establish and enhance incident response processes, workflows and operational standards.
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives within security monitoring and response functions.
• Oversee security documentation, reporting and operational governance activities.
• Support the management of major security incidents and resilience-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen security processes and controls.
• Provide leadership and guidance across security operations activities.
• Support the evaluation and optimisation of security tools, technologies and services.

Your Profile:

• Strong experience within cyber security, security operations or incident response environments.
• Understanding of threat detection, cyber defence and security governance principles.
• Experience working with security technologies and operational security frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory, risk and compliance requirements would be beneficial.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, analytical and process-driven working style.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
