You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC, Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM Solutions. You will have the chance to participate in the development of projects and products that are diverse, visible, interesting, and for the public welfare and health. You will work in an international environment and culture with a constant exchange of onsite-/offsite knowledge.


We are looking for a Cyber Security – Cloud Security Specialist to join our international team in Sofia.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the operational IT security of PHOENIX Corporate IT
  • Information security event management and incident response mainly for events originating in Cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Monitoring and management of cloud security tools and their further development
  • Threat hunting and coordination of mitigation measures
  • Cooperation with IT security stakeholders and providers regarding information security
  • Continual improvement of alerting, detection use cases, runbooks and analytic rules
  • Ongoing optimization of the cloud security baseline, cloud security posture and secure score
  • Support vulnerability, exposure and misconfiguration management for Azure resources
  • Contribute to cloud security governance, standards, documentation and automation
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud threats and Azure security features
  • Support the incident response team in the handling of non-cloud-based security incidents


Your Profile:


  • Practical knowledge in the controlled operation of IT environments incident response
  • Well-founded knowledge of Cloud platform and Cloud security toolstack
  • Knowledge in the area of KRITIS, GxP, ITIL is desirable
  • Knowledge of and interest in various technologies (networks, storage, servers, operating systems, databases and applications)
  • Structured method of working
  • Pleasure in collaborating with different international stakeholders
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and preferably also in German
