Security Engineer

We're hiring a Security Engineer in Jakarta — and we'd love it to be you.

Autobahn is a technology start-up on a mission to make cybersecurity and vulnerability management accessible to all. Our SaaS product has been developed by some of the world’s finest cybersecurity researchers and experts. Our office in Indonesia develops the cutting-edge software that underpins the Autobahn Security approach.

Now we're looking for a Security Engineer to help build the core of our product: the SaaS vulnerability scanner that helps companies understand how hackers think — and stay one step ahead of them.

What you'll actually do 💻

• Build, improve, and maintain the hacking tools that assess and strengthen our clients' security
• Create testing playgrounds for zero-day exploits and critical vulnerabilities
• Investigate real-world vulnerabilities and map them to how attackers operate
• Work hands-on with the infrastructure behind our cloud services
• Keep our knowledge sharp with clear, thorough documentation

You'll feel right at home if you have 🧠

• A genuine hacker mindset and curiosity about how things break
• Solid cybersecurity experience (CTF players, we see you 👀)
• Comfort with automation and orchestration — Bash, Docker, Python are a big plus
• Familiarity with Linux, networks, databases, and git
• Strong problem-solving instincts and the confidence to work independently
• Professional English

Bonus points: penetration testing experience and an OSCP / OSWE / OSCE certification.
