Opportunity:
We are seeking an entry level Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Customer Care data analytics department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our data-driven decision-making. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with SQL, Python, and modern visualization tools, and who wants to grow their skills in streaming data, automation, and cloud-based analytics. You'll work in a fastmoving, data-driven environment where you'll help build scalable insights solutions, optimize reporting, and contribute to our mission of making data-driven decisions easier and more accessible for everyone.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize queries to extract and analyze data from large-scale databases.
Work with real-time and batch data processing to support operational reporting and alerting.
Build dynamic dashboards and self-service analytics solutions using modern visualization tools (Tableau, Streamlit, Plotly, etc.).
Automate data collection and reporting workflows, reducing manual effort for the business. Assist in designing data pipelines for customer care analytics, ensuring data is structured for ease of use and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, product, and customer experience) to identify and solve business problems using data. Implement data validation, monitoring, and quality checks to ensure clean, reliable data for stakeholders.
Stay up to date on emerging trends in BI, data engineering, and cloud computing to improve our analytics stack.
Interest in empowering teams with self-service dashboards and analytics tools.
Ability to automate manual reporting tasks to drive efficiency. Strong communication and collaboration skills-able to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Support senior analysts in conducting data analysis projects.
Learn and apply data analysis techniques and best practices.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn and develop data analysis skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Python
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit, Plotly).
Knowledge of retail and e-commerce. Experience with A/B testing, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling is a bonus.

- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
