Governance Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking for Governance Security a 12-month contract position with a client in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote)

Rate Range: $48-52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Details

• Managed AIT (Application Infrastructure Technology) inventory, governance, and lifecycle activities, including onboarding, decommissioning, and compliance tracking.
• Coordinated risk, security, and compliance processes involving access controls, firewall reviews, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and exception handling.
• Oversaw change management activities, significant change assessments, approvals, and operational governance across enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Administered service IDs, user access attestations, business rule engine controls, segregation-of-duty violations, and toxic combination reviews.
• Served as the primary liaison between engineering, security, and infrastructure teams, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and operational follow-up.
• Managed enterprise documentation repositories, maintaining critical recovery plans, test plans, execution records, and governance artifacts across multiple platforms.
• Coordinated quarterly and annual compliance reviews, validating recovery contacts, infrastructure inventories, virtual machine assets, and application inventories.
• Governed repository access permissions, audit readiness activities, survey responses, attestations, and regulatory documentation requirements.
• Supported Enterprise Critical Infrastructure (ECI) restoration and resilience programs by maintaining operational controls, documentation standards, testing schedules, and governance processes.
