- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, information assurance or relevant experience
- Experience securing Linux and/or Windows operating systems in enterprise or mission environments.
- Experience with Automation tools specifically Ansible and familiarity with deployment automation
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
- Experience with scripting languages and automation tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher, as required).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure system architectures for enterprise and mission-critical environments.
- Apply cybersecurity engineering principles across the full system lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, verification, deployment, and sustainment.
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including control implementation, assessment, evidence collection, and ATO accreditation and sustainment.
- Perform security hardening of operating systems, applications, databases, and network devices in accordance with applicable security baselines (e.g., STIGs, CIS, vendor hardening guides).
- Develop and maintain system security documentation including RMF artifacts such as SSPs, architecture diagrams, SCTM, and POA&M.
- Identify security gaps and propose remediation strategies to reduce cyber risk.
- Support vulnerability management processes including scanning, triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps pipelines integrating automated security testing and compliance validation.
- Integrate tools such as SAST, DAST, container scanning, IaC scanning, and software composition analysis into CI/CD workflows.
- Automate security control validation and compliance reporting using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure software delivery and continuous compliance.
- Conduct cyber risk assessment activities, including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and evaluation of mitigation strategies.
- Support incident response, remediation efforts, engineering roadmaps, and cyber resilience planning when required.
- Travel or deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations based on mission requirements.
This position is based out of King of Prussia, PA or Colorado Springs, CO and the willingness to deploy OCONUS
This position supports both office and field/deployed environments. Candidates must be comfortable working in operationally demanding settings, including secure facilities and OCONUS deployments.

- Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.)
- Experience supporting DoD weapon systems, aviation platforms, or classified mission systems.
- Experience with Containerization technologies to include Kubernetes and Openshift
- Experience with Virtualization platforms/hypervisors
- Experience implementing container security and Kubernetes hardening.
- Familiarity with SIEM Tools deployment and administration specifically ArcSight
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture and cyber resiliency engineering.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
