A leading global technology and consulting organisation is looking to hire an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join its growing Security Engineering practice. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale programmes that protect critical systems across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments while working alongside some of the industry's leading security professionals.

This role offers exposure to modern security engineering, cloud technologies, automation, threat detection and platform security, giving you the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while delivering solutions that make a real impact. The position can be based in London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham or Bristol with hybrid working available.

What you need

• Experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise security solutions
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles across infrastructure, applications and cloud platforms
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, ELK or Cribl
• Experience with networking, firewalls and security within hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep
• Scripting or programming skills using Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Experience supporting security automation, log ingestion or security engineering initiatives
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, endpoint security, IDS/IPS or SOC operations would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams
• Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
