Senior Security Engineer (LATAM)

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design and development, with expertise in Golang, Node.js, and Java. This role requires a deep understanding of the Secure Development Lifecycle, cloud platforms, and container technology. The candidate will also be responsible for enabling critical security knowledge, creating workshops, and developing a security enablement platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure software solutions.
• Implement and maintain secure development practices.
• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
• Utilize Kubernetes and container technology for deployment and management.
• Ensure compliance with OWASP Top Ten, CVSS, CVE, and patching lifecycle.
• Address data security concerns and cloud security tenancy issues.
• Apply knowledge of vulnerabilities, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure by design concepts.
• Promote zero trust architecture and use OSINT tools.
• Educate the team on different types of attacks (ransomware, phishing, etc.).
• Enable critical security knowledge for experts and champions in TM, Cloud Security, and DevSecOps.
• Create and deliver workshops and refresh existing knowledge for the security workforce.
• Develop and manage processes and policies, including workshop creation.
• Build a security enablement platform with practical hacking challenges and security awareness content.
• Automate and maintain a responsibilities and skillset dashboard in product lines, integrating multiple sources of information.

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency in Golang, Node.js, and Java.
• Strong knowledge of the Secure Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container technology.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten, CVSS, CVE, and patching lifecycle.
• Awareness of data security concerns and cloud security tenancy.
• Understanding of vulnerabilities, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure by design concepts.
• Knowledge of zero trust architecture and OSINT tools.
• Experience with different types of attacks (ransomware, phishing, etc.).
• Working Hours: NA West Coast coverage (PDT), Brazil (GMT-3).
