Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative Senior Cloud Security Architect with excellent knowledge of MySQL, Python, and AI. You'll be leading on both security-focused and tech-oriented customer engagements. Key to this role is advanced experience in securing cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure and significant experience working with hybrid infrastructures, MySQL, Python, and AI.

As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will not only define strategies for customer engagements but will potentially have to participate in technical presales. Your contributions will ensure that the highest security standards are applied across our cloud and on-premises systems. Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security and Microsoft Azure Security:

• Design, develop and implement a robust cloud security strategy, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Act as the key point of contact for any cloud security related matters.

• Implement and maintain security policies, standards and best practices across all cloud platforms.

• Lead modernization efforts for legacy systems, ensuring secure migration to cloud solutions.

Proficiency in MySQL, Python, and AI Integration:

• Use Python and MySQL expertise to drive secure integration across diverse environments.

• Leverage AI technologies to strengthen cloud security and automate security processes.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in MySQL, Python, and AI to drive innovation.

Incident Response, Risk Management and Compliance:

• Develop and manage incident response plans for cloud environments.

• Utilize Python scripting skills to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring adherence to regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.

Strategic Planning, Leadership, and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Develop cloud security strategies aligned with organizational goals, incorporating Python, MySQL, and AI.

• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders about AI-enabled security strategies and risks.

• Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for cloud security initiatives, with the ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with team members to ensure goals are met within deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred or 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years focused on cyber security.

• Proven Python and MySQL skills.

• Expert knowledge of AI, Microsoft Azure security services, and architectures.

• Advanced PowerShell Experience.

• Proficiency in security risk management and mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

• Experience in large-scale cloud migrations and using AI for transformation projects.

• Proficient in Python, MySQL, and AI.
